Keep your pet safe on walks - day and night! With reflective stitching, the Reflective Easy Walk is a fantastic new product. Each Harness comes with a matching reflective leash and is available in Reflective Red or Reflective Black. We love it!
Walking your dog just got easy. Easy to put on and easy to use, the Premier Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on a leash. Safer and gentler than choke or prong collars, the Easy Walk is an effective solution for dogs that pull. Your dog will love it as much as you will.
Overview: Unlike traditional dog harnesses, the Easy Walk is a front leash attachment harness. This provides a more accurate cue for your dog in terms of direction. Unlike a collar, the Premier Easy Walk Harness never causes coughing, gagging, or choking because the chest strap rests low across the breastbone, not on the delicate tracheal area.
Why it works: Traditional harnesses can actually encourage dogs to pull harder because of the opposition reflex. That's the reflex that makes sled dogs do what they do. The Easy Walk Harness redirects the pressure through the front leash attachment. And, the patent pending martingale closure tightens slightly across the chest and shoulder blades when your dog attempts to pull forward.

How to Measure: Using a tape measure, measure around your dog's girth, starting behind your dog's front legs. Follow all the way around your dog's back, similar to a chest measurement on a human.
Dimensions & Sizing: Petite - 12-16 inches (3/8 inch wide) Petite/Small - 14-18 inches (1/2 inch wide) Small - 15-20 inches (1/2 inch wide) Small/Medium - 19-25 inches (3/4 inch wide) Medium - 20-28 inches (3/4 inch wide) Medium/Large - 25-35 inches (1 inch wide) Large - 26-36 inches (1 inch wide) Extra Large - 34-46 inches (1 inch wide)
About The Easy Walk Harness 1. The chest piece has a martingale loop with a ring for attaching the leash. 2. The shoulder strap is made of the same color nylon as the chest strap and has the fabric tag. 3. The belly strap is made of a complementary color.
Fitting the harness: 1. Open the quick snap buckle on the belly strap. 2. Place the shoulder strap over the dog's head with the chest strap resting on the dog's chest 3. Tighten belly strap to a comfortably snug fit. On medium-sized dogs, only allow room for about a finger's width under the strap. Allow a bit more for larger dogs, less for smaller dogs. 4. Gently press fingers on the lower part of the front of the dog's chest to locate the breastbone. 5. Adjust the shoulder strap so that when the chest strap is horizontal (parallel to the ground), the chest strap rests directly over the breast bone. 6. AFTER you have tightened both the shoulder and belly straps to allow only about a finger's width under the belly strap, adjust the chest strap to fit securely. It should rest nearly parallel to the ground, not hang down or gap. You may need to remove the harness to make these adjustments. When the shoulder strap is fitted correctly, the chest strap should resemble a horizontal line (parallel to the ground), and it will rest directly over the breastbone. 7. Attach the leash to the D-ring on the chest strap.
How to use: The Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on a leash. And, it's easy to use, requiring virtually no acclimation period or specialized training.
If your dog forges ahead of you, gently pull the leash to the side to turn the dog towards you. As he stops pulling, be sure to release the tension on the leash. Reward your dog with treats and praise.
To slow your dog when he is pulling ahead, apply gently pressure to the leash, pulling gently toward one side of the dog. Release the pressure on the leash when the dog is walking nicely next to you.
We do NOT recommend using the Easy Walk Harness with a retractable leash. That's because with a retractable leash, the dog is rewarded with additional leash length when he pulls ahead. We want the dog to learn to NOT pull ahead. Additionally, a retractable leash will always apply a slight constant pressure, teaching your dog it is okay to continue pulling.
Please Remember to: - Check the fit regularly, especially on growing dogs. - Examine the harness for signs of chewing, fraying, or damage. - Never leave the harness on your dog unattended. - Should not to be used for running/jogging.
IMPORTANT: Please read and understand all instructions before using the harness on your dog!

The Perfect Solution - Maria D (CA)
It is so helpful to ask questions from knowledgeable "wear tested" people. Since my girl is so very tiny, for a basenji. I believe the Easy Walk will suit my purpose.
Better Than The Alternatives - Ann H (MI)
Zoe, my dog, and I have already used it several times. It's definitely the best. We've used the flat collar (too much pulling, and I worried about trach damage), the obedience choke collar (still too much pulling and even more concern about trach damage), the prong collar (AKA power steering, but that was too coercive for me), the Gentle Leader Head Collar (Zoe hated it, and everyone thought it was a muzzle). This is by far the best option. It's easy to use, and Zoe took to it right away.
