This special blend is formulated with limited carbohydrates and high protein to support muscle structure and function, and promote lean body mass. It is particularly suited to puppies and more active dogs and is ideal for those who are intolerant of grains. Half to one cup of extra meat or other ingredients may be mixed in with each cup of food, once hydrated.
This food is made from 100% human food grade turkey, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, spinach, carrots, coconut, apples, kelp, eggs, sesame seeds, bananas, cranberries, rosemary, vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients

Dehydrated Raw Dog Food Hydration Amounts
The Honest Kitchen's dehydrated foods must be hydrated with warm water, before serving. Each 10 pound bag of food will make just over 4 times its weight in fresh food, when hydrated. Honest Kitchen foods hydrate as follows:
4 lbs: Holds about 16 (Verve) to 17 (Embark, Force & Thrive) cups. Makes about 16 to 17 lbs of fresh food.
10 lbs: Holds about 40 (Verve) to 43 (Embark, Force & Thrive) cups. Makes about 40 to 43 lbs of fresh food when hydrated.
Feeding Guidelines
The following daily amounts (DRY quantity) should be adjusted to suit your individual dog's requirements, which vary according to age, breed and level of daily activity.
Up to 10 lbs....................................1/2 Cup
Up to 30 lbs.................................... 1 Cup
Up to 50 lbs.................................... 2 Cups
Up to 70 lbs.................................... 2 1/4 Cups
Up to 90 lbs.................................... 2 3/4 Cups
A full standard US Measuring Cup of dehydrated food (which is 8 oz by volume or 4 oz by weight) will hydrate to make about 1lb of fresh food.
