Pets Help Owners Cope With Recession

Posted: Apr 07 2010

A study of 400 dog and cat owners conducted by Catalyst Direct found that pets provide much needed emotional support during times of economic crisis.

The survey reported that pet owners credit their dogs and cats with helping them deal with pressure brought on by financial uncertainty, pets provide a steady presence that helps calm daily stress and pets provide a sense of appreciation owners value especially when dealing with job and housing insecurity.

We concur! After a stressful day, there’s nothing more comforting than coming home to a purring or tail wagging friend.
