Dog narcolepsy? Really? That’s what we said, too. But apparently, it exists. According to Play Dead, Dog Diagnosed With Narcolepsy, it is possible. The article documents Skeeter, a toy poodle that falls asleep whenever he gets excited. What a horrible condition, especially for a dog. As we all know, getting excited (squirrels, toys, whatever) is what dogs love the most! It is extremely rare, but veterinarians are treating the condition as they would with humans. Hopefully, dogs like Skeeter can get back to what they do best – sniffing, playing, and yes, getting excited!
