Halloween Photo Contest Entry: Bentley The Cookie Monster

Posted on October 24, 2011 | 2 comments

Bentley is a 4 year old peekapoo, who is dyed blue. He loves attention, so he doesn't mind standing out from the crowd with his blue hair! He also LOVES dog cookies, and will do just about anything to get one, so I figured he would make a good Cookie Monster! The hair dye is made just for pets, so it is pet safe! The eyes are ping pong balls I glued together, painted, and attached an elastic string to! Thank you for your time & consideration!

Please find attached a photo of our dog Lexi dressed up as Harry Potter.  She is a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and has even chewed up a couple of her favorites in the series.  She dresses up for Halloween every year, but her favorite costume is this one because she always wanted to wear a Hogwarts uniform.  She is seven years old and would love to win this contest!

Halloween Photo Contest: Patch The Bat Dog

Posted on October 24, 2011 | 0 comments

Trick-or-Treat!

This is Patch "Bat Dog" Plamann.   (He's a Snorkie and 2 1/2 years old).

I chose to make this costume, because 1) Patch doesn't like to wear anything restricting - so it had to be a "cape" of some sort; and, 2) I liked the idea of using a black mask as his stark white face makes him unique for a yorkie and I knew the black would accentuate his darling white face!  Another trademark of Patch's is how he tilts his head when being spoken to (as seen in photo).  He loves being spoken too and it's like he's trying so hard to figure out what I'm saying!

Thank you for having this fun contest.

Halloween Photo Contest Entry: Quincey The Fruit Of The Loom Dog

Posted on October 23, 2011 | 0 comments

In the photo:  Quincey

This is Quincey.  He is a 3 year old mutt (DNA swab concluded he is Weimaranar, bulldog, and collie mix). Go figure!  Quincey is a very timid and loveable pooch.  I live in a neighbor hood with a lot of children around.  If I am outside doing yard work (or anything outside) and if the nieghbor children are around, they ALWAYS come up to me and ask, "Can Quincey come out?"  They love him and he loves them.  He is very calm and playful... just full of life!  Quincey is the best thing to have happened in my life!

The costume idea is because he is girthy.  I couldn't find any other costume I liked other than the grapes.  I was thinking about the costume before I purchased it and had an idea.  HE CAN BE THE PURPLE FRUIT OF THE LOOM GUY!!!!!!  :D  Soooooooo cute!!!!!  Soooooo original!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the opportunity to share my amazing Quincey in his Fruit of the Loom costume.
