This is Belvedere.

He is my loving, playful and compassionate French Bulldog. This Halloween I decided to make is costume. He is a Wizard :)

This is Missey.  She is our sweet, happy and full of life pug!  She loves to swim, watch cartoons with the grandkids, sleep on my recliner and play chase!!! She wanted to be a witch this year ~ of course the good witch!!! :)

"Pirate Derek!”

My dog Derek in a photo from Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in LA at the "Pumpkins and Pooches" night for Best Friends Animal Society earlier this week.

Derek is a rescue dog and is the best advertisement for rescue dogs b/c he is the most original, unique looking dog! Lovable, sweet, and never wants to leave my side. I think Derek is a Pekingese mixed with either Gremlin or teddy bear. :) People are always asking to take pictures and video of him when I take him out because he doesn’t look real!

The photo I am entering is of my four yorkshire terriers, also known as my "munchkins". My nickname for them inspired me to do a "wizard of oz" theme for their Halloween costumes.  All of their costumes are home made and hand sewn, right down to "Dorothy's" hand applied sparkles on her shoes!". I also set up all of the props (the yellow brick road was also home made) and took the picture myself.

Jaden, my boy, is the "cowardly lion" in the photo. He was my first yorkie that I ever had and he is very laid back and timid with new people. Once he gets to know you, he loves to cuddle, his favorite place is on his Mommy's lap. Jesamine, one of my girls, is the "tin man" in the photo. She is my smallest at a bit over 2 pounds and definitely is the BOSS around here!

Javelin, another one of my girls, is the "scarecrow" in the photo. She falls in love with every person she meets in about two seconds; She loves to give lots of kisses and her tail is always wagging. Jewelina, my oldest of the three girls, is "Dorothy" in the photo. She loves to go outside and to go for ride's in the car but, also loves curling up in a favorite bed beside the people she loves because, "there is no place like home".

Costume: Beanie Babies/ Ty Toy/ Stuffed Animal (whatever you want to call it)

Story behind the costume: Because Cha Cha looks like a stuffed animal by nature.  

I adopted Cha Cha in December of 2010.  She was a puppy mill dog for first three years of her life, possibly abused during that time, then rescued by the organization called, Hearts United for Animals located at Auburn, NE.  She spent there for 1.5 years.  She was so shy, skittish, shaking, and kind of a dog who is afraid of everything.  But after taking her to obedience classes and practicing for Rally, she overcome a lot of fear and now she is qualified to be a therapy dog.  She put all bad memories behind and having a time of her life.  I wanted to show her off because she is the cutest dog I have ever met!

Attached are photos of my Boss's 4-month old Havanese, Gus. My Boss, chose the Lion costume for Gus based on his personality - he is extremely courageous. We even decided to build our Halloween theme around that... so this Halloween we will have The Tin Man, Dorothy, The Scarecrow, Glinda, and Lion!

I would greatly appreciate it if you entered my dog in the contest. I am disabled and care for animals and rescue and rehabilitate them.

I have attached a photo of "Romeo" as Frank Sinatra this year. I can really use some products as they are a great expense for me right now, as I am battling cancer and on a very small disability budget every month.
