Halloween Photo Contest Entry: The Renaissance Horse

This is Chewee the Leonberger. He is dressed up as a Renaissance Horse. Chewee is a theatrical dog so when he tried out for the play Camelot he wanted to dress up like the Kings horses. Chewee is from Long Island NY and he is 4 years old. Chewee is a registered therapy dog and visits hospital and nursing home to help in the recovery of the elderly. Chewee also visits schools to work with children to overcome their fears of dogs. Chewee is a big, sweet, loveable gentle ben.

Halloween Photo Contest Entry: Chester Leroy The Hot Dog

This is Chester Leroy. He is a year old Pomeranian. He loves making friends, barking, sleeping, and playing with his girlfriend Bri. The inspiration for this costume came from my parents and I joking about making him a "hot dog" for halloween, I found this costume and it seemed perfect for him!
 
He looks lost in the picture, that is because he was looking at other dogs in the store while it was taken :)

Halloween Photo Contest Entry: Lily The Pretty Pirate

Lily is a 2 year old 6 1/2 lb Malshi (Maltese/Shitshu) mix. She is playful and an amazing loving companion. Lily loves attention and there is no shortage of her receiving it. She is very photogenic and sometimes is believed to be a stuffed animal by indiviuals who view her pictures. We take Lily everywhere we possibly can, she is our precious baby.
 
A couple weeks ago we took our granddaughter, Martina, out to look for Halloween costumes for Lily. We tried on many things and came accross this outfit that we all loved. After trying on the outfit my boyfried, her daddy found the hat she is wearing which gave it the finishing touches it needed. There she was our Pretty "LIly" Pirate.
 
While my boyfiend Michael & I had just finished decorating our front steps for Halloween/Fall, I dressed "Lily" in her costume, sat her on the Hay bale and snapped this picture. It makes me feel happy every time I see it which is often as it is my background on my computer at work, my cell phone and we had photo cards made up we have sent to friends and family.
