The SENSE-ible Harness is a fantastic training harness from SofTouch Concepts (patent pending). The SENSE-ible Harness is an new version of the SENSE-ation Harness, which was recently named “Gear of the Year” by the prestigious Whole Dog Journal. The SENSE-ible Harness is made by the same manufacturer of the SENSE-ation. We are proud to carry both products at PupLife.com.
Dog trainers nationwide are utilizing the SENSE-ible Harness and recommending it to the clients for good reason. Simply put, this remarkable training harness is more than a “no-pull device”. The SENSE-ible Harness offers a new way of communicating with your dog through touch. The harness delivers body cues through the application of gentle pressure. This no-stress method of training allows your dog to work with you, not for you.
The design of the SENSE-ible Harness is unique. The leash connection ring is on the chest (as opposed to the dog’s back). This allows you to guide the dog in four different directions, providing an accurate cue system for the dog (and trainer).
Dogs that pull can greatly benefit from the SENSE-ible Harness and the SENSE-ation Harness. When used properly, the handler gently guides the dog away from pulling – without putting unnecessary strain on the dog’s neck or head. For the handler, the SENSE-ible Harness also offers more control, because the front leash attachment provides a clear guide to the dog indicating the direction you wish to go.
The SENSE-ible dog harness is a breeze to put on and take off. Our dog Scout absolutely loves it. The harness can be fitted for training and for daily wear.
The following fitting and safety tips are courtesy of SofTouch Concepts, the creator and manufacturer of the SENSE-ible Harness:
Once you have fitted the harness to your dog, simply slide the strap over his head and onto your dog’s back. The label should be on his left side and the leash connection ring should be on his chest. Approach your dog from his right side and have him stand. Reach under his belly for the Girth Strap with your left hand and grab the short end with your right hand. (This keeps your dog in position and helps with lining up the snap buckle). Buckle and adjust the girth strap. Enjoy!
